Genius Super Controller 10 Output Permanent Install Kit:  It is now possible to operate any attachment on any machine.

We are proud to announce that our new Super Controllers are now in production.

What is a Super Controller?  It is pure Genius.  We have put our 20 years of product and machine experience along with 30 years of electronic know how to work to solve one of the industries biggest issues.  Why won't machine manufacturers allow me to operate all of my attachments on any machine and why aren't there enough controls to do what I want to do?

These issues are now completely a thing of the past thanks to pure Genius!  There are two options available so please read the descriptions below and make sure you are choosing the correct product for your needs.

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY:  This is a permanent kit that has a 23 foot cable meant to connect under the cab and follow the hydraulic lines out to the boom and then connect to your attachments via a 14 Pin connector.  The other kit we make is our rental kit meant to be installed in the cab and then passed through the doorway.  Please order the rental kit if this kit does not suit your purpose.

Series 10 SG-SC-202 (Universal Install kit fits all machines) - Permanent Kit - 10 output, 23 Foot Output Cable -

What's included. This is meant to be a permanent install kit that will stay in your machine.  We developed this controller particularly because the Kubota controls were so poor.  Skip the Kubota control and become a Genius.  This kit includes 4 mounting schemes so it will work on any machine. Since introducing this for Kubota mahines, we have come up with several parts that make this a truly universal kit.

    • Bolt on - 2 small joysticks similar to a video game controller that clamp onto any control stick.  This gives you 10 controls.  4 more than most machine manufacturers give you today.
    • Each joystick has an X/Y 4-way control plus a Z locking button.  This allows you to run equipment requiring an always on control.
    • A controller interface in a sealed box with mounting magnets so you can easily install it with no labor.
    • A 23 foot harness that you will hard wire inside your machine and run out to your boom.
    • On the end of the harness is a 14 pin connector pinned out the old fashioned way.  The way things used to reliably work.  Once installed, you will bolt it to your boom end and add the dust cap for an OEM complete system.
    • The connector is on magnets, can be drilled and tapped to your boom or includes 2 of the most common mounting tabs to bolt to your existing hydraulic blocks so you can permanently install it on any machine.
    • A 2 pin Deutsch 25 Amp plug so you can instantly plug into power the controller.  You can be up and running any attachment in just a few minutes.

Why did we develop this product?  We hate the way all of the manufacturers have conspired to make the attachment controls individual to each machine in an attempt to make you have to re-purchase them should you decide to change brands.  In the past, owners did not care about this because you did not have much money tied up in attachments or if you did, they did not have many controls.  As the modern machines evolved, it would have been easy for all of them to design similar controls or at least pin out the 14 pin connectors the same so that if you had several machines, you could swap the attachments back and forth.  Instead, each manufacturer did things like pin the exact connector differently so even though they were the same, they would not work.  Others used a different version with 8 pins so they would not interface properly.  Still another manufacturer added a computer interface and another different 7 pin connector which was virtually impossible to interface to until we started work in 2010 and built the first after market controller that would work easily with their machines.

That product termed the CanBus controller was so successful that we moved onto the other manufacturers and created what you see here.  We realized early on that we could not add buttons to their sticks as it is mechanically impossible.  What we decided to do was to create a small joystick control that could easily be added and be as unobtrusive as possible.  My personal feeling is that when I operate something, a joystick is much easier than reaching for buttons.  People raised over the past 40 years have come in contact with video game controllers and so they should be familiar with this.  We are going to be using these on our boom mowers and a joystick will be a much more efficient way to control our mowers because we can actuate both the X & Y axis at the same time.  We are really looking forward to getting these out into the field for you to try and welcome your feedback.

If you need to learn more, watch our videos here.

We designed this from the ground up and made the control pack to operate inside your cab easily and reliably.  Every part of this was designed by us and we even wrote the software contained in the controller pack.  This shows our true dedication to building you something that is truly Genius and not some generic thing that you have to customize.

    • I have a John Deere 8875 skid steer with no electric to the boom. I have a bob cat sb200 snow blower with a 7 pin connector what would I have to do to connect this to the 14 pin permanent harness you have?

Pay attention to the connector type at check out.  You must verify it or you will receive Delphi.  The instructions are on the page.  Please read and verify.  Everyone blames me because they did not read and just clicked through even though there is a pop up warning.

    • How soon do you expect to have SUPER CONTROLLER 14 PIN 10 CONTROLS - PERMANENT INSTALL in stock?

Parts finally arrived.  They are in production.  3 weeks is my best guess.  We can add you to the call up list if you would like.

    • I have a JCB300T, which does not have factory electrical on the end of the boom. I have installed the Super Controller 14 pin 10 controls-permanent install. Is it possible to wire it in order to use the new joysticks for all hydraulic function and not use the single factory auxiliary hydraulic switch on the skid steer’s factory joystick? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunatley not.  That machines usually use CAN signals for hydraulic controls and we would have no way of setting something like that up.

      Sorry

    • Do you have these in stock and will it work on my kubota svl 90 thank you

Not right now.  Rental units only.

    • it appears the SUPER CONTROLLER 14 PIN 10 CONTROLS - PERMANENT INSTALL | SKID STEER GENIUS is out of stock. will you be building anymore and when do you think they will be available again?

      They are stocked.

    • I spoke with Rob yesterday evening and I understood him to say he had put one super controller that was available. I’ve already purchased the harness. Sure need that controller like the sooner the better.

I added it and sent you the link.  If you did not buy it, then we will have to add it again.  Let me know when you will actually order it and I will add it again and send you a link.  We only have a few left and they are reserved for graders only.

    • hello,i read your writeup about the chinese junk attachments after i purchased a landhonor grader blade.all i have with this is the solenoid valve,no black box no controller.would your controller plug directly into the solenoids and also slow the movements down.have it wired up temporary and it is working but too fast and not enough buttons on terex pt 50 eight pin connector.can you help?what all would i need to order.

Terex machines have only 4 controls.  The grader requires 6.  CLICK HERE FOR A MACHINE CONTROLLER
The Grader has no wiring.  You need to add a wire harness.  CLICK HERE FOR THE HARNESS

You also need to check the solenoids because a bunch of these graders came in with 24 volt solenoids and people were blaming my harness for not working when all along it was the coil because a 24 volt coil will not operate on a 12 vold machine.  That is why my first question is for customers to check the voltage.  It will say 24V on the side.

    • Interested in your super controller 14 pin kit. Is there a specific kit for Caterpillar 279D? Price and availability . I have purchased your harness kit to adapt to grader attachment with six solenoids is there anything else needed? Thank you Tony

If you buy the Permanent kit, it has a lot of spare parts so every machine is covered.

    • Do you have the ability to operate a bobcat laser grader with full laser capabilities and functions yet

We always have had that.  You just miss the screen.  Here is the kit.

      https://www.skidsteergenius.com/collections/controls/products/bobcat-grader-kit-96-108-grader-with-gateway-control-and-side-shift-permanent-install-kit

    • Hey, I'm from Australia and i was wondering if you ship here. I'm also assuming the price is USD!

Yes.  Our site allows for overseas shipping.  It's expensive and takes a long time to get through customs, but it gets there.  Everything shown is stocked in the USA and sells in US$.

    • I have a legacy Hitch Doc Dual Dozer (two DA hydraulic cylinders) that uses two Trimble GSM-2 laser receivers which run into a junction block, and is remotely controlled with a compact controller. I believe it is a 14 pin Cannon circular connector on the controller. Do you think it's possible that your Super Controller can be used with this system? Currently using it with a Mustang 2040 which is the hydraulic and electrical power source. The basic functions of the controller are: 1) Independently operate the right and left DA cylinders. 2) Select automatic or manual modes. 3) Vary the speed of the hydraulic cylinders. I have the wiring diagrams, pinouts, and pictures if required.

As long as it uses 12 volt drivers, it will work.  There are 8 momentary controls and 2 latching.

    • thanks for this information in the past i have brought a harnees off you guys and it ran 2 funtions for my bobcat power rake it ran left and right functions only then there was the hydraulic function as well from the machine that spins the drum so i was missing out on the front wheel height adjuster due to only having 2 functions available so with this new system 10 controller would i get a left /right function, also the front wheel function so up and down and does this harness activate the high flow if so how do i order this unit

Most every machine should have ran 4 functions unless it is really old or a Kubota SVL.  Using our Super Controller will give you 10 controls so yes, that is plenty.

    • Do you have a Takeuchi permanate install video for a BobCat 8' grader blade w/side shift on a TL150.

Sorry but we have not done one of those yet. Maybe you could do one and shoot lots of photos and maybe a video or two and we would pay you.

    • I need to hook up a Bobact 108 in Grader Ser#AJ2E04187 to a Kubota SVL95-2SHF Ser #46852 or KBCC0953VK1F47819 it has High Flow with Multi Function Handles. The Grader has 5 rams. There are 4 solenoids to run the other cylinders. What harness do I need to use.

Here is the kit that we designed.

    • Hi Guys, Looks like a great product. Q1 Do you ship to Australia? Q2 I have a Cat 259D and am about to purchase a Bobcat Grader without side shift which is currently running on a Bobcat machine. Can you let me know what harnesses I need in addition to the super controller. Cheers Simon

We have shipped quite a few of these to Australia.  You just need to be patient as it seems to get held in customs for up to 30 days.  Before we can answer your question about the harness, we need to know if it is an 84" grader or a 96/108" grader.

    • Hi folks, I have a CAT 289c2 Skidsteer with an 8 pin deutch attachment connector. I have just recently purchased a melroe branded bobcat grader. The info plate on the grader simply shows a model: GRADER and SERIAL: 802700298 it has 6 solenoids and appears to have been connected to a controller brain box that has bobcat p/n 6678675 and shows made in CANADA. Is there a way to use this grader with my existing aux controls on my machine? Im perfectly capable of wiring, testing etc, soldering and adding relays if nesscessary.

It is next to impossible to use on your machine without modifying your machine controls.

    • Have a bobcat 108 grader set up on 299xhp cat with your controller to work with works great Need kit to install on a second 299xhp is the 10sg-SC-202 the one needed or another don’t need any thing for grader only have one Need to be able to use on ether

Correct. You will only need to buy the Super Controller kit for each additional machine that you wish to operate the grader on. The T-Harness and Side Shift harness will stay with the grader.

    • When will these be available again, have a SVL 90-2

How many controls do you need?  We have this product which will add four controls onto your SVL.

    • How soon do you expect to have SUPER CONTROLLER 14 PIN 10 CONTROLS - PERMANENT INSTALL in stock? Are you able to put me on the call up list? I could use two of the now, and possible two more after. Thanks!

Still waiting for their arrival with a huge backlog.  I cannot even guess at this point because I keep appearing to be lying.  We have had promise after promise on these but with no deliveries.  Which machine are you wanting to connect to?  I designed this product to help many people as long as you don;t have a Cat or John Deere.

    • Any chance we can order these yet? Permanent Super controller, I am trying to run bobcat Grader attachment on a John Deere Skid steer. Been sold out for almost a year here now??

I am well aware of the drama involved with trying to get parts to make these.  No parts for over 2 years caused us to redesign the product three times to use parts that we could get only to find out that those parts were not available as well.  Then we were shipped ounterfeit parts so that was $40,000 down the drain.  All I can say at this point is they will appear on the site after we catch up all of the OEM's that ordered these a year ago.  I won't even give a date this time because it looks like I am lying.  If you are willing to move the ground on your machine from A to B, you can use an injector kit if the machine is 2020 or newer with a pin K installed.

    • any idea how much longer this is going to be before we can order? Or can a person put a order in with you for one? Also how would they do that? It says still sold out. Thanks

It's a new product configured differently.  Watch for the new order pages coming this month.  They should start shipping by the mid to end of June.

    • Could you let me know when the SUPER CONTROLLER 14 PIN 10 CONTROLS will be back in stock? I think this is what I need for a 287B to run a Bobcat blade with six functions. Thank you!

BY JUNE 15.  They will be configured differently so keep watching for details.

    • Hi when will you have more available and do you have a stockist in Newcastle NSW Australia.

No clue because parts are out 2 - 3 years.

    • ken osborne county of GP#1 looking to purchase the super controller 14pin 10 controls to run our Bobcat grader on our John Deere skid steer I would like to know when this will be available so that i can proceed with the order

We are waiting on parts that were promised a year ago.  I really cannot tell you at this point.  If you are willing to move your ground pin on the machine from A to B which will make your machine universal, I will have a solution for you in about a month.

    • Any way to get on a list?

If you mean a mailing list, just create an account on our web site.

    • ive got a JD 331 G and just purchased an older modle PALM grader. Do you have the connections to hook up to the older solenoids?

      A - Ground
      C/D - Left Up/Down
      E/F - Right Up/Down
G/H - Angle Left/Right - Not all JD machines have this switch installed.  It's on the right side of the upper dash and has arrows left right.

    • How soon will you have this back in stock? SUPER CONTROLLER 14 PIN 10 CONTROLS - PERMANENT INSTALL | SKID STEER GENIUS Thanks in advance.

This is the subject of our weekly drama meeting because our parts are so short.  I just can't give you a firm date yet, except keep watching the site because as soon as we have them, they will be added.  What are you trying to do?  We may have alternatives.

    • Hi. I own a cat299d-2 compact track Skidsteer and am interested in purchasing a bobcat brand grader blade 96inch blade. Can you tell me if your genius harness and joysticks will operate the grader blade proportional valve proportionally? Or is it on/off?

We do not use proportional controls because of the way the grader is set up from Bobcat.  We use on/off.
