Ask a Question

Here's a Genius idea.  Why not allow people with OLD 14 pin Bobcat attachments to run them on their new Cat D-Series Skid Steer Loader?  This adapter does just that.  Just plug one end into your Cat D-Series Loader and plug the other into your attachment equipped with an 14 pin connector.  Turn on your machine and get to work.  This is another Genius product.  The best ideas at the best prices.

NOTE:  This adapter does not work with modern Bobcat 7 Pin CAN controlled attachments.  You must purchase a bypass harness for those to work.  Please use the selector guide to choose the correct harness.

Note:  Cat 14 Pin outputs 6 switched ports if ordered.  You will need to check to be sure that you have buttons to operate this adapter.  We cannot be held responsible if your machine was not ordered with any controls.  You will notice that this adapter has 8 pins installed.  Up/Down, Left/Right and right stick Up/Down  and +12 Volts.  We do provide the extra power port on pin K on this adapter.

  • Would you happen to have a diagram for the attachement bobcat side . I think the people I got my bobcat dozer blade from moved some pins . nothing but right angle down working . I bought this harness from y’all just now Trying it out .

    Did you follow my rules?

    1.  Did you reverse the couplers on the attachment?
2:  Did you lock the roller in the forward direction with the low flow circut operating?
3:  Does your machine have 2 buttons on the right stick next to the roller?
4:  Are you using the left two buttons and right two buttons to operate the blade?

  • I have a 289d3 and have a older bobcat grader with the 7 pin. Will this work?

Are you only looking for manual control?  Does the Cat have all of the controls installed?  If so it will work, but it will suck.

  • My cat 299d is high flow will this adapter run the Bobcat planer that has 14 pin already, on high flow

Yes but you will need to install the high flow jumper.  Please watch this video.

  • Does this work for a Bobcat high flow planer with a Cat 299D machine

I doubt it unless the planer was converted to 14 pin from 7 pin CAN.  This should work for you.

  • I am trying to run a bobcat soil conditioner on Cat D series machines. The conditioner does not have wheels that raise and lower automatically. It is just left/right and forward/reverse. Do I need the above adapter or one of your harnesses?

You will need to look carefully at the soil conditioner harness and see if it has a 14 pin connector or a small 7 pin connector.  If it is a 14 pin connector with pins in B,C & D you can just plug it in and it will work.  You won;t need me.

  • I have a 299d3 cat machine and I want to run a 84" bobcat soil conditioner with tilt, forward/reverse, & power lift wheels is this the correct harness? The machine has 7 aux options

This item is not a harness.  All of the information can be found here.
