This cable allows you to add a power wire to your 14 pin connector on your machine so that you can run attachments that require a powered source.  This is true for John Deere machines prior to 2020 and CAT D series machines before 2020.  

You will add this wire to either your battery or a switched source inside your cab so that it only switches on when you power up your machine.  From there you will follow the hydraulic lines out of the cab and down your boom until you get to the back of your 14 pin connector.  You simply unscrew the two slot screw on the back of the strain relief and twist off the strain relief.  

For John Deere you will add the pinned end into the 14 pin into the K position.  Make sure you remove the white water seal plug first out of the K position.

For Cat D Sereis you will add this to the P position in the 14 pin. 

Once complete, you can close up the connector and get to work.  The wire connection is 20 feet long so you will have no problem running it through your cab.
