Welcome to our new electrical adapter page for 8 pin connections only. This page is only for Caterpillar A,B & C series machines with 8 pin connections built prior to 2014. All Terex machines and ASV machines e/w 8 pin connections**. The opposite ends will be 14 pin and vice versa. This page is independent of the 14 to 14 pin page. Sorry if there is any confusion but the manufacturers make it that way. 14 pin connections work with CAT D and Next Gen Series, Kubota, Case, New Holland, Develon, Manitou, etc.
There are only two easy steps.
1: Choose your machine brand. Either 8 pin or 14 pin.
2: Choose your attachment brand. Either 8 pin or 14 pin.
We will do the rest. Please note that this ordering guide is only for 8 pin machines and/or attachments. Pay close attention to where the 8 pin is located because this page has machine side 8 pin and attachment side 8 pin connections listed. This means that you could have a 14 pin machine with an old 8 pin attachment so in this case they are mixed 14/8. 14 pin means that the connector is capable of 14 pins. It does not matter how many pins that the manufacturer installed. To be same this page only references machines or attachments with 8 pins on one side or the other.
For Bobcat 7 Pin CAN controlled machines and attachments, they are also on separate pages because these are control systems using CAN controls and not simple electrical adapters.
For reference, 8 pin connections were used only for 2014 - Cat A B C Series, ASV - Check carefully because they are all over the place with their connections. Terex follows the ASV layouts.
**For ASV/Terex you will need to move one pin for all functions to work. A pinning tool is provided.
