They provided a perfect crimp every time. Our professional tool is sourced from the company that use to build their tools and they provide a perfect crimp every time for a lot less because we buy a lot of them directly and pass the savings onto you. Our brand of tools are sourced from a second tier supplier. Good quality for casual use but not meant for long term high volume use. Most people only use them for the odd project and don;t need to pay a fortune for a crimping tool.
This version of tool is only sized for the 8 pin HD connector pins and sockets. They do an OK job but will not last for thousands of cycles. For 90% of our customers this crimper is enough. Our Deutsch crimper is adjustable to ensure a perfect crimp no matter what gage of wire are used. This is a bonus that the cheaper crimping tools do not have.
NOTE: This will not work for crimping pins/sockets on the 14 pin Deutch connectors.
