Our professional tool is sourced from the company that used to build their tools and they provide a perfect crimp every time for a lot less because we buy a lot of them directly and pass the savings onto you. Our HOBBY tools are sourced from a second tier supplier that makes awesome quality tools for home use.
This version of tool is only sized for the 14 pin HD connector pins and sockets size 12 - 18. You can adjust the depth and crimp pressure only. You cannot adjust the pin/socket gage outside of 12 - 18 gage. They do an great job but will not last for tens of thousands of cycles. For 90% of our customers this crimper is enough.
